...... a time there was a girl that loved to sit in the woods and wait for the Dark to come. And the Dark came and embraced her. The Dark came in flood, lapping her toes and the hem of her skirt. The Dark came barefoot and his footprints would be seen vanishing into the mist. The Dark sang in the leaves of the trees and creaked in their branches. He gazed upon her from the moon and softly kissed her hair while he played with fingers of wind with their curls.

Perhaps if you would take your heart and go to the woods with moon alight and Dark so bright, you could find her still sitting there, on her bench, whispering tender nonsense to the love filled dark silence. *
