Happy in HoiAn by Mitchell O'Mahoney

Currently unavailable for purchase

With one souvenir left to buy, and the rain about to fall, our last stop in HoiAn brought us to this lady’s shop. Here we found a lovely gift for a special friend, and met another memorable exchange. The cheerful shopkeeper was as amused by our attempts at Vietnamese, as we were by her.

This picture is made with smoke from an oil lantern applied to archers paper with a brush.
