Eighth Wonder of the World

Figure of Eight Pool, NSW Australia.

The Figure of Eight Pool can be found just south of Burning Palms Beach, in the Royal National Park.

The locals reckon it was formed over 10’s of thousands of years by water swirling around two bolders that were deposited on the rock shelf by the ocean.

Thanks Janice, had to scramble down a rock face to get to it, but it was worth the trip. its about 6 foot deep. We reckon it would make a great summer spa.
