I Felt Like Superman

Whistle you don’t seem
to mind your minds
a fit against the fire.
A mist to the dog.
The shake against the rest.
Past this dance with you.
I felt like superman.
We’re just like comic
pages waiting for
one laugh.

It’s your holiday
a Christmas light.
A snowflake.
The last time I saw
you we danced.
The glass cried the
way you smiled
and looked at me
casting time’s crime.

It’s love I act
and you stand.
Under the light
coming together
understanding
our bones are a
myth, a thing
from the past.
A key to the door.
Remembering you
have lost a memory.

Memories are
blank.
The future
your window.
A look through me.
A spring to pick
your right.
Flowers are beautiful.
Rain and Sunshine.
A smell of a rose.
A shadow from a willow tree.
Dance will you?
I feel like superman
let’s fly and be
a web for krypton.
