my new home? nah…The Gingerbread House, which was built by James White in 1902 as his personal dwelling, has been an eye-catching fixture of Fourth Avenue since that time.
This house is located in Carberry, manitoba.

This is a beautiful house. Absolutely lovely.
isn’t it though? and thank you
That is my house. Grew up there. Like what the Museum board has done with my bedroom. You say you’re selling prints and cards of my house?
ya sure its your house..and not to worry…i haven’t even had very many comments. I rarely sell anything on here…
Yes it is, although the Museum Board in Carberry bought it from my parents approx five years ago.
I took the photo a few years ago now and yes it was a museum when I took it. I do have the legal right to take photos of it. It is open to the public…Although I didn’t get a chance to see it inside. it was closed the day we went there. I took the prints off the image but i’m keeping it up.here although no one really comments on it.
hello Cheryl My name is Lea and I am chair of the museum and I have no problem with your pictures of the Gingerbread House as it only helps with more exposure of the beautiful buildings. we are open for tours from june 19 to Sept 5th so come back and we will give you a tour…it is even more beautiful inside and filled with period furniture and nicknacks.
