He is just such a cutie! This is Jake. We have had him for 2.5 months. He is a year and a half old. We found him in an ad and he was in dire need of a new owner. He had never been to the vet and his owner got sick so he had lived in his kennel for his whole life. (Really bad excuse, I know) I about started to cry the first day when I saw how timid and scared he was. I have a very happy Boston Terrier already so to see the difference, it just kills me. We are not going to keep him as 4 dogs are way too much for us, but we wanted to do our part and help rehabilitate and train him so he can find a good home. He has learned so much already in the first week alone which includes his name, going to the door to go outside, and how to go down our very steep stairs lol. Now we just have to work on the marking issue………..He is doing so well so far! Thanks for looking!
UPDATE ON JAKE!! We found a home for him. He came a long ways in four months AND we found the perfect home for him. He was scared of men and so the first couple that came to see him got scared away. A lady actually came up to my table at Petco and asked about the Bostons in my portfolio and I told her one was mine and one is a foster child. She asked where she could sign up. To make the long story short, no men lived in the house and she already had 3 bostons. She understood this breed already so that was wonderful. A perfect ending=)
