Today I went into my lounge room and just missed out on watching two huntsman spiders have a gladiator match to the death. I wish I had been able to get some pictures of the fight but I missed it! I did take a picture of the winner and the loser though.

Hi Michael, cool shots and story. I think the loser is the shed shell of the winner though. The winning image is very pale, but I think he will darken up.

Oh yeah, it probably is skin, I didn’t even think of that. I just assumed it was another huntsman that the other one had killed. I’ve seen them fight a lot. Fun to watch.
