Hurray, my first Journal Entry.
Well I’m just sitting around today waiting to find out if a car will avail itself for my driving pleasure tonight. My Friday night car has been leased out to another driver, so for the last four weeks I haven’t been able to work Fridays. Its putting a big hole in my pocket, and when there is a hole in my pocket, buying new Lenses and Filters is difficult. I have not been able to get out and take a lot of photos since I started work anyway, so I guess it’s all good.

Hello Michael, You are one of those marvellous taxi drivers I meet on those occassions when I need a taxi. Mostly I am taking a taxi to visit one or other of my sons who live about one hours drive from the airport in Melbourne or Adelaide. Taxi drivers are a wonderful group of people who have done and are doing all sorts of creative things and come from all parts of the world. I never have such interesting conversations as I have with taxi drivers. I hope there is a car for you and very good passengers who enjoy your company as much as I enjoy the drives I have in a Taxi. Incidentally have you seen that great DVD Night on Earth about taxis? I think it was also a movie.
