I don’t really have a hometown, since I grew up moving around a lot because my dad’s in the Military. I like to call Spokane one of my homes since that’s where a lot of family is and we always visited there, my other home is Port Angeles, WA since that’s where I have a lot of friends, and it’s the home of my wonderful wife, Jessica.
I’m a Christian and not ashamed of that. I’m definitely not perfect, but I know who is.
Besides photography, I really dig driving, I don’t know why, maybe it’s because I drive a Volvo stationwagon, maybe it’s the 110 horses that I can unleash with my right foot. (Nearly effortless power, I mean, how cool is that?) Even when hanging out with friends that drive newer, faster, more modern cars, mine always seems to be the preferred car…sure it might have to do with gas, but I like to think they have fun with me and feel safe with me…or maybe it’s just my awesomely cool, naturally aspirated 1988 Volvo 240 DL Stationwagon. (With cruise control)
Besides photography and driving, I really dig mountain biking, nothing too extreme, I just adore tearing up the trails…okay, leave no trace and all…I just enjoy cruising the single and doubletracks in the woods and fields.
My photography style is pretty dynamic, sometimes the final images seem “dark” or “moody” ... it doesn’t have anything to do with how I feel or any kind of depression or emoness, I just think it looks cool.
Life is good.
