ah, yes. vigeland park. i guess i have some sculptures in my portfolio too (a must as a “half norwegian” – been there 10 times at the minimum). sadly many of the sculptures seem to have fascistic influences. at least they look that way..
but this one is beautiful. very nice capture, too – and nice treatment! :o)

  • It is an amazing park. Thanks for your comment and the fave Benedit, I’m glad you like this shot. BTW, my husband’s grandfather was Norwegian too :)

Great composition here, Chris! It’s been a long time since I’ve been to that park. Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve been to Oslo, too. First time I saw those sculptures was when I was a child and I was very impressed already then.

  • It was our first visit to Oslo. My husband’s grandfather was Norwegian so we went to meet some of his relatives. Such a lovely city and Norway is such a beautiful country. Vigeland Park is definitely a place to visit :)

I am originally from Sweden, so it’s a little closer to go and visit Norway from there. Pretty far to Oslo, though, since I lived way up in the northern part of Sweden.

  • I haven’t managed to visit Sweden yet – one day hopefully :)
