In my opinion this beautiful beach in Portmeirion , Wales, rivals any other anywhere in the world.

Hi, my name’s Chris. I live in the beautiful county of Monmouthshire.
When I was 10 I was given a Brownie 110 for a school trip – not a single shot came out! But ….. the photography bug was born.

Makes me want to be in it.

  • Portmeirion is a fascinating place. Apart from having a beautiful beach, it is village which was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village but the buildings are approximately ⅔ of the size of the originals. The hit series The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was filmed there.
