Although obscured,
to some, invisible;
as with all creation,
the flaws revealed
a beauty stronger,
more intense than perfection.

your reflection a mirror
of me, a reminder
of my own loveliness;
your support maintaining
my unsteady scope.
Passion, intensity, bravery
glow different hues,
disguised sometimes as
brash, sometimes angry,
yet always glowing
even in heartbreak.
The heavens align only
a few times within our lives.
I pray the time comes
that the sun shines her warming
rays upon you once more.
Embrace that warmth,
flawed though it may be.
Know that the cold and dark
will come, but they make
the light so much more
precious.
