For every heart that finds a heart
there is a heart that cries

For every dream that is reborn
there is a dream that dies

For every smile upon a face
there is a tear to cry

For every sweet hello you say
there is a sad good-bye

For every new life in this world
there is a grave to see

For every heart that opens wide
there is one without a key…

For Every Heart...

For every heart that finds a heart
There is magical joy shared and wondrous

For every dream that is reborn
There are further dreams yet untapped

For every smile upon a face
There are new possibilities opened up

For every sweet hello you say
There is anticipation for the coming day

For every new life in this world
There is a passing history of a life well-spent

For every heart that opens wide
    I too open my heart…

Kick arse MissKristy! All things great and small are governed by yin and yang. A big hug to the person that is this instant crying, cause I for sure am smiling!

MissK, I love the tempo and meter in this and like Mark I can’t help but respond in kind. Maybe you can make this an ongoing collaborative piece.

For every heart that finds a heart
there is a soul that’s trying

For every dream that is reborn
    there is a triumph sighing

For every smile upon a face
    a little cloud is lifted

For every sweet hello you say
there is a friend that’s gifted

For every new life in this world
there is a new joy to share

For every heart that opens wide
the world will learn to care…

MissKristy – this rocks! I like the use of polar opposites and the ‘butterfly effect’ / theory…whereby each contains its opposite.
i.e. No dark without light – no happiness with sorrow – like the symbolism in the Yin/Yang or Anima/Animus (Jung).

    Stylish work as usual!
