ancient monuments
sorrow
fear
darkness
silence
cold fire
dreams
greed
need

We had long coveted the chance to hold sun and moon in our hand
far beyond what our thought
far beyond our need
our wants
embers to eternal greed
eternal arguments
the promise of eternal life in heaven
digging earth
to dig for coal
to dig for gold
to dig for Roman remains
to dig a grave

We dug deeper and deeper had found a lot
but we still greedy for more
destroy sky
polluted to atmosphere
armed
weapons
wars
resources
I felt, we filled our chest with an other’s lives
selling our hopes
selling our dreams
selling our believes
selling our heart
to won
but there is nothing to get
nothing to seem

crimson wind
Wealth
luxuries
gold
silver
diamond
platinum
in the end
we ‘ll go empty hand
we’ll have nothing
we’ll die with nothing
there is only pain of greed
greed is the only sin
cause of the pain
we’re still empty hand
empty mind
empty soul
behind our loneliness mask
forever burning with our greed golden pyre
and still greed for more
wants more
weeping
tears
burning
on the crimson flames
a life of hardship and toil
Hundreds of men toiled for years at building the pyramid
We toiled up the hill in the blazing sun
We’re the prisoners .. who kept in chains of the greed
the chains of fear
the chains of misery
the chains of breathe
the chains of death
the chains of of the life

And in the end …
ashes to ashes
dust to dust
our ashes will bear our sin
hear our name whisper
so why you greedy for resources
why we greedy for the gold and diamond and oil
humanity is too often concerned only with the personal vanities of humanitarians
the vanity of human ambition in the face of death
our greed is the only cuase of our sin
