Got the book!
I received my copy of the ‘Unleashed 07’ short story collection yesterday – it’s fantastic to be able to read this diverse array of short stories in book format – I am just old fashioned at heart. Like the feel and look of paper and other book-like properties.
Must be such a thrill for the winners to be published!
The book was great value and professionally presented – and fun to get a package in the mail! (even if it was a little bent)

Mine should be on its way, can’t wait! I’m torn between reading all the stories on RB, or waiting for the book! I’ve fallen somewhere in the middle. Read some, then realised they were in the book. Oh well, I wasn’t here when the comp was running.

Yes Alan, there was a short story competition earlier this year, where the theme was ‘unleashed’ – there were a couple of hundred entrants from memory, the best thirty were voted on by redbubble members, and the best 15 were chosen by a specific judge, then these fifteen were published in the ‘unleashed’ book!
if you want to check out the entries, look up ‘unleashed’ or perhaps ‘unleashed 07’ in your search engine thingie!

I did the same – yet some of the stories were so likeable that it really didn’t bother me that I’d already read them on the site – was just happy to have such gems in print, a good local product on my shelf that promotes local writers – cos hey maybe that could be me some day and I’d like fellow writers to support me!
