Repentance, prayer, fasting and weeping.
Mourn, we must mourn all of the innocence
we have murdered.
Let us make a memorial to the unborn,
cry out for forgiveness!
The wounds we have inflicted upon this nation
tearing the fabric of our cities,
our homes, and our schools,
our places of work
and our streets,
we have set the enemy upon us,
and all of his cohorts.
We haven’t wept as a nation for the genocide.
We haven’t taken responsibility,
We haven’t asked God’s forgiveness.
We add iniquity upon iniquity.
We dance the pagan dance,
Where is our humility?
Everyday some mad man runs with
a gun through the streets,
and then laughs in the foolish courts.
We spare the life of the wolf,
and slaughter the lambs.
Isn’t it so?
We walk into churches,
we marry men to men
and woman to woman,
equal rights we call it.
our pity pours out for sin
our pity pours out for the lives
yet we break the wombs of women
and bleed it dry,
can we stop not torturing the world?
can we stop not defiling ourselves?
man, woman, and child,
Mourn! Mourn! Mourn!
the world is shaking and spinning
terribly out of control
When the prayers stop
when the few stop praying
and the knees are broken
The Knowledge of God vanishes away
then mercy disappears
the evil children make merry
the misery of others
“O’ Lord, cleanse us
may we rend our garments
and die to self”
“So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to The Lord your God.
