If we could reflect Glimpses of The Lord

He says in His Word,

“With food and clothing with these we shall be content”
(1 Timothy 6:8)

We don’t need superfluous lifestyles. We are clothed with The Garments of His Righteousness, with Humility, Love and Peace. The inward man is being renewed from day to day, naturally our outward appearances are a little raggedy, pudgy, wrinkled, with softening skin, and sagging flesh. But it is alright God is perfecting “the inward man” to bring Glory to His Son. The inward man is being shaped and renewed day by day. Who are the ones reflecting The Glimpses of God’s Glory? The saints who live their lives in submission to His Son Jesus Christ, the ones who deny themselves, their own desires, and pick up their crosses daily, daily, to follow Him!

What is the Path,? Honoring God through our lives. Worshiping at The Feet of Jesus by our obedience to Him. Reflecting glimpses of His Glory! It is allowing God to reflect The Light of Jesus, just a glimpses of His Glory. When The Body of Christ shows pieces of His Glory, just pieces (as His Glory is too AWESOME to be revealed through any one vessel), nations will be changed. Whole nations, brethren. Every vessel of glory can yield to His Glory! In yielding the glimpses of His Glory begin to shine through! Through the heart that is completely yielded.

To give The Love of Christ to the poor and the needy. To those who are otherwise overlooked, is to get a glimpse into His Glory! Brethren, let us yield to His Spirit, To The Holy Spirit, to reveal The Fruit of His Righteousness, Love, Joy, Peace, Goodness, Longsuffering. Be clothed in Humility and Gentleness! The Clothing that God wants us to wear cannot be purchased. If all we do is clean the outside of the cup, how will the world see the glimpses into Christ’s Love? Let God scour the inside of the cup, which is the heart. Let God use our lives anyway He wants, to show the glimpses of His Glory to the world. Whatever our circumstances, do all to The Glory of God, with Thanksgiving! Let us live the difficulties and sufferings of our lives in Praise to God! Let us give ourselves, beloved, as living sacrifices to His Purposes. Beloved, be obedient under whatever hardship God has ordained for us! Wherever we are posted, remember, we are soldiers of Christ, obedient to Him. We serve no other master, but The Lord Christ! We are not servants to money. Why does God ask us to share it with others? Do you think it is just to bless others? It is also to protect us from greed. Money strangles, money becomes a mistress, an idol and a god, when we do not use it as God would have us use it

Let us Give ourselves daily To The Will of God. To be a believer whose heart reflects the glimpses of His Glory! Live to Reflect a glimpse of God for the world to see how Majestic and Beautiful and Kind Jesus is! So the world will fall down and worship Him! To be “The Glimpse” of Christ’s Glory is to endure whatever hardship God has ordained.

The Glory of God reflects strongest when it cuts through the darkness of suffering. When we are able to Praise God like Job did in the midst of terrible suffering, the death of his children, the brokenness of his own body, God’s Glory is revealed. When we say with Job, “Even if God slay me, yet will I trust Him.” His story is so powerful not because he didn’t suffer, precisely because He did suffer. He suffered with Grace and Humility. Job suffered without cursing God for his situation. He wept, he was bereaved, but He would not stop worshiping God despite his physical and emotional pain.

When we submit and lay down the arms of our flesh, the world begins to see “the glimpses” of God’s Glory! The world needs to see a people who worship God no matter what. The world doesn’t need a greedy people who want the same things they want. The world is hungry to see The One True God! The world is really tired of all of the false dieties who impose such hardships on the people. The world needs people who are willing to cast themselves aside for God’s Purposes! When the world sees a selfless Church, they will fall down and worship The Head of The Body, JESUS CHRIST!

The question we must ask ourselves, "Do I want to reflect "the glimpses of His Glory through my own life? Will I be obedient to follow God to the thorny places I never wanted to go? Through deep sufferings I never wanted to endure? God’s Glory is reflected when the eyes of a world see an unglamorous life filled with the joy and love and serenity of Jesus Christ

Which lives make the most impact? I love a lady named Corrie ten boom, not because she was a glamorous star, just the opposite. She was incarcerated by the nazis, sent to Ravensbruck, a concentration camp where her older sister Betsie died. I recall the life of Heidi Baker whose toddler daughter was raped years ago by a poor man she helped. Did she stop serving God? She continues to serve the very poor to this day. As servants of God we must be willing to go wherever He wants us to go. The Lord Jesus came to suffer and die. If The Lord suffered and died, then we too must come through a veil of suffering and death. We never want to hear that life will be uncomfortable. We hear we might suffer, and we think, this is not the path I want my life to take. But if we are truly servants, we will follow the example of our Lord. Will we always suffer? Maybe not, but at some point a shadow falls over every life. It is inevitable in this fallen and sinful world. Will we suffer with The Humility of Christ or will we suffer with the spirit of murmuring and complaining? Will everyone hear our screaming, the cries of our bitterness in shrieks of agony? Or will the world hear the song of Christ in a vessel that is completely submitted and submerged in Him???

ABBA FATHER, help us to show the world, the suffering and dying world glimpses of Your love for them. Glimpses of Your Kingdom through your servants on this earth. Let them be comforted by us even when we are suffering. Let the glimpses of Your Love flow out of us, even when our lives are being shattered for The Glory of The Kingdom.

You molded us. You are The Potter and we are the clay, help us to be vessels for Your Glory! Let The Light of The Lord Jesus Christ, Your Holy Son be glimpsed through those who love You!

In The Name of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Other Name! AMEN!

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therfore the world hates you."

Remember the word I said to you, “A servant is not greater than his master.” If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept MY Word, they will keep yours also."
(John 15: 20-21)

If we could reflect Glimpses of The Lord by

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of The Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by The Spirit of The Lord.”
(2 Corinthians 3:18)

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therfore the world hates you."

Remember the word I said to you, “A servant is not greater than his master.” If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept MY Word, they will keep yours also."
(John 15: 20-21)

For to this you were called, because Christ also sufferd for us, leaving us an example that you should follow His steps:

“who committed no sin,
Nor was any deceit found in His mouth.”

who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously."
(1Peter 2:21-23)

And not only that, but we glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance,
and perseverance, character, and character, hope.
Now hope does not disappoint because the love of God
has been poured out in our hearts by The Holy Spirit who was given to us."
(Romans 5:3-5)

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though
our outward man is perishing, yet the inward
man is being renewed day by day.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment,
is working for us a far more exceeding
and eternal weight of glory,
while we do not look at the things which are seen,
but at the things which are not seen.
For the things which are seen are temporary,
but the things which are not seen are Eternal.
(2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
