Genocide is not a word

Genocide is not a word it is a savage stab to the heart
a crushing of cities,
of people
of ethnicities,
men women and children
it is skull bashing
and screaming in the night
after being raped for centuries
it is not knowing if God exists
and it is wolves biting the wombs
of expectant mothers
What kind of Face is Genocide?
it is legion stretched over the spirit of a world
demon hoofs running roughshod
draining the blood of nation
eating it for lunch with vicious
appetites and no one survives
Native Americans
in The Soviet Union
Behind The Iron Curtain
The Unborn
in The United States
Tutsis in Rwanda
in North Korea
We Promised Never Again
Would The Womb of Humanity
be crushed
Would The world
be Bruised
Incinerated Voices
rise out of the ashes
from the throats of those who
have survived
“Never Again!”
World leaders pontificate
never again
Still murders
and tortures
bleed the countrysides
babies torn from the wombs
of their mothers
Lord, Look and See What They Do
In The Name of Ethnic Cleansing
In The Name of Nationalism
In The Name of Racism
In The Name of Religion
In The Name of Convenience
In The Name of Evil
We look up to Heaven
for a Paradise where everyone
will be loved,
where all children are equal
where Jesus is King
and the nations submit
to a Higher Standard
no more tears,
no more bloodshed,
No more will children be made
to tote machetes and machineguns
No more will little girls be raped
and their tiny bodies mutilated
by the bodies of men
There will be No More Racism
We will Be One Race
The Glorified Children of Almighty God
No more will land be grabbed
and people ripped out of its grasp
atomic bombs
and chemical weapons
will not choke
the kindergarteners
nor will the blast of an explosion
leave a generation
with tumors and cancer
There will be no bulldozers pushing
emaciated mass graves
No more cuttings
wounds will finally be extinct
There will be no more survivors
of a Holocaust,
Yeshua will finally cut the deed
out of our souls
Through The Blood of Jesus
Genocide will be laid to rest
in the pits of hell
Where it’s participants and instigators
burn for the unspeakable
committed in the name of barbarism
and sinful willful woe
Genocide is nailed to The Cross
Nailed to The Mighty Glory of God
All of the rapes and blisters
torn flesh on the steak knives
of the nations will be no more
Genocide is not a word
but the worst condition of a sinful humanity
enslaved to the greed and power
and the wanton egregious flesh
that does only continually evil
eventually every nation
and every people will face
an extinction
without Redemption
we are doomed to repeat
all of the mass killings
of the past
“No one remembers.”

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

(Revelation 21:4)
