SCREAM FOR THE MESSIAH!

Tear the skies with voices of urgency!

Make our lukewarm lives a prayer to you!

Tear the teeth of the proud so we may

plaster our cheeks to the ground

where Jesus walked

scratch your voices all up!

SCREAM FOR THE MESSIAH!

Shake yourselves up from this nightmare!

we worship the idols in our hearts

Broken hearts are a blessing from God

Souls groping for Jesus as gold!

Beg for His Garment it still exists!

His Healing will come in the morning!

SCREAM FOR THE MESSIAH!
ASK to be trumpets to warn the nation
Whose on the wall?
Whose on the wall?
in the gap for a nation whose walls are broken down

blind and drunk with the blood of the innnocent.

Lift up the Unborn! Lift up the Unborn!

the veil of tears that surround us

SCREAM FOR THE MESSIAH!

Oh for Mercy’s Sake!

MOURN! Learn how to Mourn!

Scratch the skies, “God help us to Mourn!”

Wash the scales from our scarred eyes

A nation whose heart has gone so far from You

Oh Father, we have gone so far,

SCREAM FOR THE MESSIAH!

The Temple is in Disrepair

the places of Worship

torn and broken into by our greed

hearts no longer made of flesh

We have fallen into pits so deep

the enemy has ensnared us,

SCREAM FOR THE MESSIAH!

the thorns are choking us!

the thorns are choking us!

the curse of luxury

a beam and a blemish

we walk about in darkness

and don’t even know that we are blind

SCREAM FOR THE MESSIAH!

with rawest throats

we walk about with so many gadgets,

yet we know not that we are so very poor

we are bedecked in the finest clothes

and yet, how has it happened that we are naked,

so very naked, groping in blindness,

SCREAM FOR THE MESSIAH!

as beggars with no home

as children who are orphaned

our crushed hearts crave You!

we are so hungry

so thirsty

so weary

SCREAM FOR THE MESSIAH!
