I appreciate your visual contribution to this problem, fear however, reality is probably even worse than your shot.
A German fashion-magazine Brigitte has now decided not to work with professional models any more; the didn’t want to participate in spreading an unhealthy ideal of beauty.
Yes, I know the reality is a lot worse, or it can be at least. I was trying to portray the unglamorous aspect of the beautiful thin models we try to look like from the magazines. The model herself (in my picture) is naturally slender as it is, but I actually put makeup on her back to make her look bony.
