I have been avidly taking photographs of life around me since the ripe old age of 8, when my father first placed a steel coned 35mm camera into my hand and started to show me all the “manual” configurations needed to figure out the correct lighting, depth of field and speed. I learned about various film and how they behave when taking shots. It was the start of a life time love with photography.
In my photographs I try to bring out some emotion for the audience. Whether it is humor, love, tenderness or just “beauty of nature”, I hope that I am conveying these emotions accurately to the viewer.
I take a camera everywhere I go and if something “strikes” me, I will stop and take a picture of it. These are really some of the best ways to be in the moment. I always tell my friends, “let the picture come to you.”
I hope you enjoy viewing my fine art photography.
I belong to the Roswell Photographic Society where I enjoy attending monthly reviewing of works and periodically show my images through their juried exhibits.

In the “spring” Trees Group challenge. What a shock. I was reading the rules to enter and then boom…saw my own little “fig” bloom called “Renewal” being used …
