Looking north from the summit of Mt Warning as the morning sun casts its rosy glow from the east.
Waking at 2am we set off from home. After almost 3 hours of driving it was then a 4.4 kilometre hike to the summit which took us about 2.5 hours to cover; It’s up hill all the way! The last 400 metres you have to scramble up steep rocks, but the spectacular view is worth every sleep-deprived step :-)
