My great grandmother grandmother lived through The roaring 20’s how fantastic when I see all those old movies.
I have so many things from her collection…I had a lot more but I had a house burn down and so many things were lost..beautiful memories I cherished…Living In the Chicago suburb must have really been something to see..with all the constant killing and shooting up with Al Capone and his hit men( He now has a wax of him in One of our Museum. Apparently when you first walk in the door..he is sitting at a des with a Cigar..He definetly was a legend in his time.Along with Elliot Ness. My Dad use to deliver newspapers to Al Capone and he got big tips…lol..what times to be living in !!!!..wild..I would say…
Its funny how I remember these songs from my mom and dads era, but how could I forget!!! I was such a little girl and mom and dad had a restaurant and lounge and a great old jutebox…I was raised in the business. Its it is amazing what a itty bitty girl would remember. So when I was painting this image I thought of this song right away!!! Frank Sinatra, and his very old collection of records I have now…I can now play them..because they came out with the 78 record players again…how fun it is to listen to these records..I also have some magazines from my great grandmother from the forties…how fun it is to look at them..I will put a couple of magazine cover pictures on this painting page so you can see them..hope you enjoy this painting, song, and pictures..The pictures are a little blurry…sorry
GOT TO LOOK AT JOHN WAYNE..!!! PRETTY COOL
