The Cormorants were out in big numbers on a sunny morning in early March, communing contentedly in the treetops. It’s fascinating to watch the rapid quivering motion that takes place in their throats and to hear their distinctive grunting noises.

    Great shot Bonnie. I am finding it very funny at the moment, that so many people are uploading pics of water birds. Our paddleboat has finely come out of its’ summer rest period and is cruising again as of yesterday, 3rd March and all the water birds are out there to be seen by one and all. Cormorants, darters, pelicans, egrets, you name it, we most likely have it. :-) {{{Hugs}}}
