Beautiful little dove, Bonnie and what wise, wise words! Love the presentation and background colours too! ;o)

  • Thanks a million, Krys. Doves seldom come to my feeders, but this one surprised me with its presence. I was thrilled!

congrats on the well deserved feature!

  • Thank you very much, Caroline. I’ve been trying to photograph doves for a long time; this one showed up very surprisingly and lingered just long enough to give me time to get a few shots.

They do look so innocent don’t they. There are a few pairs of Mourning Doves near my home. I’ve yet to get a shot I love! They are pretty shy and frighten easy. I love your work here, Bonnie! Beautifully done! I love the colorful background!

  • I know how you feel, Lisa; they are very skittish and those large eyes don’t miss the slightest movement. They take off like rockets and the moment is lost. I was blessed to get this one, though. Hope you get yours, too!
