Fabulous image, beautiful clear details. I love it.
Thanks so much, Lyn! Wouldn’t this little bug look great inside one of your raindrops!

Crystal clear image!!!! Gorgeous detail. These guys aren’t always easy subjects. Well done. – Dawn
Dawn, you’re so right. They are not easy to photograph. They scuttle rapidly on leaves and branches and the wind plays havoc with attempts at a clear focus. I tried to hold the branch with one hand and handle the camera with the other. I was cross-eyed and aching by the time I stopped trying! Thanks for your kind words.
hehehe – I hope she doesn’t fall!! Great pic!
She certainly was teetering on the edge of her little bridge, but she remained firm footed! I appreciate your feedback!
Lovely ladybird, beautifully clear imagejx
Thanks so much, Jesika! From the lady who photographs insects so expertly, that means a bunch!
Love ladybugs… love this pic.
Thanks so much, Maria! I had to chase this little mite for a while. The wind was enemy number one and the ladybug’s speed was enemy number two, but I got a few shots in nevertheless! Did you ever consider buying live ladybugs from a nursery for your spectacular indoor shots? You could release them into the garden after they pose! I know you’d get some fabulous pictures. I just try to photograph them in the wilds!
Awesome capture…wonderful macro shot!
Thanks so much, Glenna; I appreciate your kind feedback and support.
so beautiful Bonnie – did you take this with the macro lens? My, it’s so clear!
Thanks, Kimmie. I did take this with the macro lens (105mm) with the ring flash attached. The wind was blowing like crazy so I had to keep clicking away in hopes at least one shot would be clear. This was about as good as I could get under the circumstances. Love those ladybugs! I appreciate your kind words.
Brilliant capture, awesome detail and clarity!
Thanks so much, Kathy. It’s hard for me to spot these little jewels but when I do I try relentlessly to get at least one good shot. Sometimes it works; most times it doesn’t!
Beautiful little lady, I can even count her spots, she is so clear! Dee
Thanks so much, Diane. I appreciate your kind words and your taking the time to view the photo!
Excellent capture and love the title. Your photos are just perfect. Bonnie
