Mrs. Redbird on the Nest
Mrs. Redbird, a Northern cardinal, has made a nest in a rosebush just outside my bedroom window. I tried taking photos of her with the window open, but she was entirely too nervous. I had to compromise, put the window down, and hide behind a camouflage curtain in order to get this shot of her. I hope to add more as the eggs hatch and the Cardinal family grows and matures. Look for the next installment in the ongoing Saga of the Redbirds.

Your compromise turned out great. Looking fwd to pics of the babies. I’m glad that you have figured out a way to spy without upsetting the mom.
