American Robin on a Beautiful March Day
The robins were late in showing up this year. I don’t know if they wintered further south, but they’re just making an appearance now. I chased this beautiful robin from tree to tree. Members of the thrush family and cousins of the bluebird, robins are bigger than most backyard birds and easier on old eyes that try to focus on them through a camera lens. A welcome break after trying to get a sharp bead on itsy bitsy hummingbirds and such.

Lovely image Bonnie…the clarity in his feathers is awesome; perfect exposure on this and the depth is perfect.
