Northern Cardinal in Golden Light
The time of day, the season of the year, the prevailing weather conditions all affect the existing light when I photograph birds in my yard. On this particular occasion, there was a golden glow which I really liked as the backdrop for this brilliant male cardinal so handsome in his suit of vermilion feathers.

This is a great capture, to get a Cardinal to sit long enohg to get his picture is a challenge alone not to mention getting a good shot like this.

Amazing shot!! I moved to Indiana three years ago and that was when I saw my first Cardinal. We dont have them out west! Well done!!
