Thanks so much, Carolyn; I’ve been trying to get good shots of the roseates, but they are always out of reach. I finally took the plunge and invested in a 500 mm lens with a 2X teleconverter; now I can see them much better. Hopefully I’ll learn to use my new toy more skillfully with practice. I appreciate your taking the time to comment.

Yes, they are surely a challenge but soooooooooo worth it when we can get them in focus and up close and personal. You do such marvelous work and your spoonbills are some of the very best I have ever seen. You are an inspiration!
