Little Birdie in a Big World

Most of my bird pictures are close-up, larger than life shots, but I decided to try something different for a change, a bigger picture so to speak of a tiny bird in a big world. This chipping sparrow looks miniscule when viewed from a distance.

Well this is definitely different, Bonnie, and very attractive too, with those pretty fresh green spring leaves and gnarly branches!! Birds are funny aren’t they – so many different shapes and sizes!

    Sweet sparrow.
“His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He is watching me”... in this big world.

Hope the birdie don’t blow away or you… just seen your the weather map in you area. Looks ominous!

There is an almost Oriental look to this lovely image. It’s good to see the detail of a subject, but taking a step back & seeing how it fits in its natural environment is equally pleasing.

I agree, very oriental looking…such a wonderful composition, the light is fab as well as the bokeh. Mostly I love how the detail and green of the tree just pops off the screen, of course the birdie is perfectly positioned and adds so much to the image! Beautiful work my friend!
