The Alpha and the Omega

I would like to dedicate this image to my dear friend, Lanell, for whom this title has special significance. Lanell’s birthday is this month, February, and this is my gift to her.

(For the Digital Art Compilations Group, I used a photo of clouds as the background; then I copied and pasted two additional images, one of Christ on the cross taken at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in Opelousas, LA, and one of the Risen Christ taken at St. John’s Cathedral in Lafayette, LA. I adjusted the Opacity sliders in the layers palette to achieve the levels that looked right. I retained the color in the crucifixion image but changed the resurrection image to black and white).
