Nature's Christmas Card
My brother, mother, and I went for a ride this morning to get as many photos as we could before our rare, rare snow melted. (The last snowfall we had was in 1988). I thought this scene was exceptionally love, the green and red trees of the usually warm Deep South Louisiana, encased in a blanket of snow. I think Mother Nature decided she’d send the world a Christmas card from Cajun country. Joyeux Noel, mes amis!

Another great shot Bonnie. I worked in New England for 17 years and enjoyed the snow being from Louisiana – I’ll have to tell you the story about my first serious encounter with snow sometime…. LOL
