Queen for a Day
I know I’m showing my age with my reference to the TV show, Queen for a Day, but I thought of that when I saw this daylily. In all its resplendence, it “reigns” for only a day but how glorious it is during that brief period of time.
I’d like to dedicate this image to my long-time friend, Claudette, fondly known as Ste. Claud, who will be Queen for a Day on June 3 when she celebrates her birthday. Happy Birthday, Ste. Claud!
