Although the Revolt is generally considered a failure, it did succeed in showing the peasants that they were of some value and had some power.SLASH a movment in french painting. Realism, impression – ism, cubism, analytical – cubism ( 1907 – 1908 ) Synthetic cubism – the cube was a reaction against optical realism. The movement ended as did the cubist, only to be followed by the CUBOID.
