Who traveled the land
In search of Japan,
But no one told him
That it is an island
We all have a destiny;
We all have a purpose.
Until we find it,
We are all worthless.
Nothing and everything all at once
Nobody and somebody in one
Neither and either it could be
My mind runs with madness;
It runs with much sadness.
The past haunts me when I blink;
It haunts me when I think.
It is more than I can take-
More than I can shake;
They pierce my soul-

I gaze upon the vast and dismal land.
Many would fear that which I see,
Not I,
For I am in my beautiful place.
Some lay awake
From stress they can not shake.
Others may have dreams,
More good than bad or so it seems.
My interest fades in what is taught;
I drift away in deep thought.
Thinking about what will happen years from now:
Who, what, where, and how?
Taking the good with bad,
The joyful times with the sad,
Some of you may not see
That all of this is meant to be.
And one day you will see-
See that I could be-
Be more than what is seen-
Seen by your judgmental eyes-
Eyes that burn holes
Holes that leave scars
Scars that last and never fade-
