Hi gang, I am going to trial the approval feature for groups, so all items posted will get approved or rejected in one area before going live to the group.
I’ll give this a week or so trial, and give some feedback at the end on how I go, If you findt hat you are finding this method horrid, can you explain why in the comments of this journal ..

there is no facility to do that with the system that is inplace, and due to the volume of posts and my commitments to my job and personal life, it would be very time consuming to email everyone individually. Alot of the rejected images mostly just fall out of category, or the user has ignored the guidelines for posting. I would like to give a small why Im not acccepting this.

it is better to maintain the quality of a group i guess, though if it’s me who got rejected, I would like to know the reason. :P Actually I run a group myself (it’s Diigo by the way), a member just keeps posting bookmarks that don’t fit the theme of my group so I sent him a mail and expressed my thoughts in a very modest way. He no longer share any bookmarks ever since.. lol
