On June 11th 2008 it was mothersday. We were visiting our grandmothers house and were sitting cousy in the sun under the tree. Like always there was a lot to talk about. And at the same time i let my mother talk with here mother and sisters. But i also took my sketchbook and drew my mother with a blue pen. And this is the result.
I am still in love with this drawing. So simple and real.
(i found this drawing again because i was looking in old sketchbooks. I just gave them all a spot on a nice cupboard that i bought.)

Every kid loves drawing, I just never stopped. 1 day my teacher in highschool told me I could go to an artschool because I was so good in all that artistic stuff. And so I did. I went to the artschool in Genk. It was a whole new world, for the first time I was completely in a world were art and drawing was important. It was so inspirational. Now I am studying at the St-Lucas in Gent for a bachelor. I still have 1 year to go. Than I can start working on my career as an professional illustrator.
