WHY:
This is a drawing i made for a school assignment.
we needed to write a small story.
STORY:
i made mine about a boy and a girl who live on difrrent sides of the river but want to be togheter.
The boy starts making all kind of inventions, like this plane-bicyle to get on the other side. But he always fails.
then they will start building a bridge toghetter and that is the end of the story.
THE DRAWING
I really like the life in this drawing. there is emotion in it. something naïve and childlike. i can feel how much joy he has by making this bike.
MATERIAL:
This is a drawing in pen. on some recycled paper. The colours where added with the computer using a drawing tablet. but the white is from a textcorrector

Every kid loves drawing, I just never stopped. 1 day my teacher in highschool told me I could go to an artschool because I was so good in all that artistic stuff. And so I did. I went to the artschool in Genk. It was a whole new world, for the first time I was completely in a world were art and drawing was important. It was so inspirational. Now I am studying at the St-Lucas in Gent for a bachelor. I still have 1 year to go. Than I can start working on my career as an professional illustrator.

This is really good and lots of fun. With feet like those he might swim across to the girl. Love the story and, as always, your great illustrations.
hehe, never thought of that before wildago (Is that your real name?) at first i used to draw feet like this, but now i am changing to this feet i like it more. but i am just finishing the story how i started it.
