WHY
this was first a little sketch in my sketchbook for the story over the river.
But i liked it so much i made a tshirt out of it.
HOW
As i said, this was a little sketch, i scanned it. cut it out and painted it in photoshop.
I didn’t put the white of the paper in one colour and i like that because now the colour isn’t just in 1 piece, if you look closer you will see tiny white spots. it gives an extra dimension.
If i take a pen drawing and scan it and colour it on the computer i always use colours with a lot of gray in them. i just really like those colours i guess.

featured the 5th of March in students and beginners
Every kid loves drawing, I just never stopped. 1 day my teacher in highschool told me I could go to an artschool because I was so good in all that artistic stuff. And so I did. I went to the artschool in Genk. It was a whole new world, for the first time I was completely in a world were art and drawing was important. It was so inspirational. Now I am studying at the St-Lucas in Gent for a bachelor. I still have 1 year to go. Than I can start working on my career as an professional illustrator.
