Every kid loves drawing, I just never stopped. 1 day my teacher in highschool told me I could go to an artschool because I was so good in all that artistic stuff. And so I did. I went to the artschool in Genk. It was a whole new world, for the first time I was completely in a world were art and drawing was important. It was so inspirational. Now I am studying at the St-Lucas in Gent for a bachelor. I still have 1 year to go. Than I can start working on my career as an professional illustrator.

Sanne – put this on a card too, in time for christmas. This is a great time to have holiday cards available, especially for us Americans who have to spend all our money for christmas like gluttons [ha ha].

2 things: format the design horizontally, to get the biggest art on the card, and add the tags “Christmas, Santa Claus” — you can put spaces in tags now, and they stay as two words instead of being split into two tags. Good luck!

  • Hey,
but this isn’t a christmascard… sinterklaas is celebrated on the 5th and 6th of december. Or would you use it as a christmascard?

Sorry Sanne, too much coffee yesterday. I shouldn’t have suggested possible sales in US — thinking about it, the cardinal’s hat would be perceived as a religious figure instead of Santa Claus, and his black helper could be misinterpreted as well, because we don’t have that same story here.

So, I still think you should consider putting it on a card or print, but that it would not work as a christmas card in the US. My suggestions for the tags would be misleading, so do not do those. I am not a loud american tourist, really ;)… sorry for making the confusion.
