put it in an envelope
with a hint of perfume
me
and a scent of passion fruit
licked a stamp
that won’t expire
forever and a day

i didn’t know
your house number
the name of the street you live on
the city
or your zip code
so
i folded it again
into a paper airplane
tonight
when the wind comes
i’ll face your way
