the audience melted
with every verse
and every note
you sang about a star
in the starry winter sky
where it did not belong
and how you wished to be the moon
to be by its side
so it would belong
the audience dreamed
about the moon
and wished to be that star
you sang about a girl
you once shared her breath
and how she left
to find her spring
and left you
with winter and blizzard
the audience ached
and wished to kiss your heart
the audience did not realize

So as we wish on our choice
