    reaching for the illusive wish… your great quality of line… ability to capture natural figure proportions (in this case hand and fingers)… and your control of soft pastel colors… all work together in this simple composition… still very sexy, just not as blatant… successful experiment IMO!

    Clever clever Mimi! :) Oh this reminds me of being a kid and staying up WAY too late, playing with a flashlight that my sister and I hid under my bed, making shadow puppets all along the walls…..we never had tentacled creatures, but we did have several Swan Wars! LOL

    Re your conceit pills Mimi, can prove essential to belief and practice of good art! But on the other ‘hand’ too many as you would be aware can prove disastrous and cut talented artists off from their audience let along narrow their field of vision and focus way too much!
