and you know, i am too very attracted and drawn to darker art…. when i first started to paint two years ago (fall of 2007), i had to dig deep and search for the “dark” within me…. was a very hard process actually… and still is…. and it is very hard to put in words but we all have that dark (but i would not necessarily call it the darker side)... it is not about pain and is not painful, ugly, distorted, skewed, or destructive…. but rather dreamy and very beautiful state of solitude where time and walls don’t exist(for me).... (it probably sounds strange but i find this “dark” very inspiring and from and in it, i create richer and more enticing pieces…. did i scare you, sarah? if yes, that wasn’t my intention…. ; )
