    I do llike this portrait but my only critiscm is why you didnt extend the hair out make the canvas very narrow landscape and do the 3 5 ... I think the space created would really kick your painting if you redo it,,,,, just a thought anyway

    thank you roger for your thought and suggestion… when i did this, i had no plan… had a small canvas but had no thoughts, no plan, and no model… however, i did have my favorite beaten up cheap brushes and a tube of burnt umber and all of my passion… and this was born… thank you~ : )
    p.s. i never redo any of my paintings… : )

    Im sorry my sense of humour doesnt travel very well,,,, I use cheap brushes and canvases as well in fact my archibald entry dad what a smile,,,,,, sorry the archibald is a portrait prize ,,,, cost me 4 bucks in cheap acrylic paint ,,, and a cheap 2 buck canvas made of plastic,,,,,, didnt bother me tho,,,,, after all chinese paints have been a round for a few thousand years so why not buy a bargain,,,,,,,.,, and the painting wasnt as heavy as canvas…....
