hi julian… ( mine too ;P )... thank you… did this very quickly (about 15 minutes) right before i went out to dinner a couple of hours ago for a challenge that the moderator invited me to enter… but just found out the challenge is over… :( ... oh well… had fun anyway… and thank you very much !!!!! : )

hi lisa… the model cancelled on us that day… so we took turns modeling for the class… and i draw and paint as if i’m being chased… someone called me the most impatient painter he’s ever seen… ;P … colored pencil jeans took about 10-15 minutes… thank you lisa and hope you’re starting a happy week… xxxxx

thank you doug…. the original shown in description (right) took 3 minutes… coloring the denim took about 10-15 minutes… a spanish artist once told me that art is knowing when to stop, and since i’ve been trying so hard not to overwork… thank you~ : )

i suppose i do… i feel the model’s energy and flow at the first glance and imagine myself standing in the same pose, then just translate that onto the paper (but not by trying or thinking… it happens automatically… i had a great great life drawing instructor at a prestigious art college that i attended during high school) ... thank you, luke~
