so the leaf is real…

the leaf came as an after thought… it needed something and i saw the leaf sitting on top of my drawers behind my chair… and the words, as they often do, came to me when i was uploading the image on rb and needed something for the description box…

i used to be a freelance graphic designer… the ads i’ve designed used to run in slam, vibe, xxl, penthouse, and car audio magazines + many other trade magazines(ok, i’m showing off a bit now~ :P)... that is until i started my own art school for kids… i work with high school students putting their portfolios together to submit to art colleges… all of my past students are studying with scholarships in the most prestigious art universities though out the country… : )
money? never enough… :P thanks cb…

wow, cb… congratulations… i attended art center college of design in pasadena, california, received a full scholarship to otis/parsons (used to be back then… now they are two separate schools) attended otis, l.a. for awhile, then graduated from cal state long beach with bfa in graphic design… where are you attending now?

hope you enter the art school of your choice and achieve your goal… always be positive and hopeful and strive to be the best… wish you much success in future, bc… starting at a community college and transferring after completing all of the academic requirements is one of better way to go… but you have to meet with the counselor at art school to confirm which courses’ credits are transferrable… all schools are different… continue working on your portfolio, bc… you are very talented…

seunghee is a wonder… she applied and was accepted to risd, sva, and mica, all with chunky merit scholarships… she is now studying illustration @mica (they offered her the biggest scholarship)...
