art once was a choice i’ve made
art now is a gift and i cannot deny it…
i’m not a poet but words find me
so i just try…

with his voice
with his eyes
with his song
he once spoke to me
with an embrace of his wings
he once filled me
with the hiss of summer rain
against the heat of city asphalt
with the smell of black wine
against the dampness of grey monsoon
with the mist of white clouds
against heaven’s gate and harp’s lullaby
that was 200 seasons ago
and i never knew his name
