Give your explanation I like the sense of spontaneity – some great pieces seem to come out of pure moments like these – I like her intense look downward as if trying to free herself from something (over analyzing moi?) – sorry, but I like it!
mimi yoon replied
usted? over analyzing? ; )
i like your comments… and i learn about my own pieces from your words… i see things i wouldn’t on my own… thanks julian~ : )
Gregory John O...
Good one. Wonderfu work!! I wish I could just attack a piece af canvas without any preconceived plan. I have been working on a painting for 15 years and am no where near finished. Maybe I planned to much..

rosso
And do you know why? Because that’s all it takes to point things out.

:D :D
yes, that’s what i’ve figured… you are very interesting…
rosso
Thanks for pointing that out.

rosso
I wish to point out that only teenagers giggle. Adults laugh aloud or snicker in a condescending fashion.
mimi yoon replied
sorry, but i work with teenagers every day, i’ve learned to be just like them… i love them… i love mine and their giggles, and i have no plans to change my ways… you may want to go play with other adults who laugh out loud or snicker in a condescending way…
rosso
I wish to point out that you are getting serious, and that is bad for your health.
mimi yoon replied
i’m still giggling, rosso… :P
Gregoryno6
Impressive results considering the main ingredients were boredom and scraps. Are you one of these people who can whip up wonderful meals from leftovers?
Julie Marks

Mimi, I just had to tell you that your work is extremely inspiring! It’s beautifully and meticulously executed with rich color and lively strokes. I am a children’s illustrator who’s endeavoring to add fashion illustration to my cache and I must say, your work has only helped me to make the transition.
BRAVO!
